At 1st Business Rescue, we exist to provide limited company directors with hope and a way forward during some of the most challenging times of their lives.

Our team have been involved in the industry since 1997, which means we’ve got over 20 years of experience in advising directors through business restructuring, financial issues, and insolvency.

Our (different) approach

Our approach is very different from a lot of the companies in this sector, as our focus initially is completely on you, the director.

We completely understand the emotional anguish that comes with having to consider the future of your company, and the knock-on impact this can have on your personal life and the lives of the people you love.

We’re based in the North West, and can meet you face-to-face wherever is best for you, whether it’s in one our offices in London , Manchester or Lancashire, or somewhere closer to where you’re based.

Equally, if you’d rather talk over the phone or on Zoom or Skype, we’ll do whatever’s most comfortable and convenient for you.

Our Director Chris is going to tell you a little bit about how he becomes involved in the insolvency industry.

5 years ago I had to liquidate a business that was involved in renewable energy and insulation, overnight the companies business model was shattered. The  Government reduced the tariff that our customers would receive for installing our products. In addition to this, we had been ripped off by a company that never paid us over £200,000 for work we had completed. This was one of the most challenging times of my life, we had people that we knew working for us and there was no hope in sight.

I did some research online about company closure and visited a number of insolvency practitioners to discuss the closure of the company,  all the different information seemed to conflict and I left the meetings more confused than when I had walked in. No one seemed to be able to give me a straight answer to my questions causing me many sleepless nights.

Eventually, I was introduced to Justin who for years had worked with some big insolvency firms across the UK, his role was to refer clients to the insolvency practitioner. This was the first meeting that I had where I felt that my questions were being answered in a manner that I understood, no-nonsense and he didn’t use jargon that I didn’t understand.

On the back of what was one of the hardest times in my life we launched 1st Business Rescue, our mission is to help and advise directors of companies who are facing financial difficulties and maybe considering company closure.. Our information and approach is tailored to your specific situation and all our advice is focussed on you the director and helping you navigate any potential pitfalls or implications that there may be for you personally.
